Not hard at all. My cousin taught me, and i went down without falling after only 3 runs but maybe that’s because I’ve been skiing since I was 3.
the only hard part for me was the T-bar on a snowboard, and getting off the chairlift because I’m used to skis I really had to concentrate.

If you did not like skiing than you are not going to like snowboarding. Skiing is a lot easier to learn than snowboarding. Plus you are more prone to injures.

The toughest part about learning to snowboard is learning to fall, and still be willing to get back up. Definetely get yourself a helmet, you will need it. be Persistent!
Once you learn to balance on your edges, it’s easy from there.. Find a spot on the hill with noone around and go from side to side. Go across one way on your front edge getting used to your balance point, Stop at the other side and do it again, this time on your back edge, same thing find your balance point.
Once you are comfortable with that try going slowing down the hill spinning slowly like a helicopter. You will look ridiculous, I know. But it will help you so much with learning to transfer from edge to edge, and in the long run it will make you a much better boarder.
Goodluck!!

The biggest tip anyone gave me when learning to ride was bascially to look at your feet as controlling four pedals. You press the 1st by pushing down with your front toe, the 2nd by pressing down with your back toe, the third by pressing down with your front heel, the 4th with your back heel.
Just take your time, relax, enoy the beuty of winter, and maybe even smoke a joint if you’re down. Snowborading is truly an amazing sport and I would say by the 5th time you go you’ll be having a blast!!!

not at all, the basics are pretty easy to get, i think you should get lessons though, just so you learn the right way and you’ll get a hang of it faster, but past the basics, it does get tougher and it takes time, good luck

Try this link or some ideas.
You can also go to YouTube and search Expert Village snowboarding for some videos and instructions.
Some feel that is hard and some don’t. I got the hang of it quite quickly and my friend didn’t. Just don’t give up and make sure you wear a helmet.
To me snowboarding is the best feeling you can have.

skiing is alot easier for me then snowboarding. but it might be if ur not good at one the other is easier. tip number one dont go completely straight down u go wicked fast but its soo hard to stop. and when u fall with skis if its that bad they just pop off but on a snowbaord your completely stuck. i hurt my wrist when i feel on it multiple times my first time snowbaording ahha i fell getting off the chairlift too…. oh my but snowboarding looks more badass.. srry i kinda rambles
