Skiing at Mt. Tremblant in March – Suggestions?
Marjorie asked:

What restaurants do you like?
What are your favorite trails?
Anything we shouldn’t miss?
Where do you have lunch at the mountain?

Haven’t been there. Everything should be at the hill. Just pray that winter hangs in until after you have left. It’s been wickedly warm this year although we are freezing at the moment.

There are lots of excellent runs for experts to beginners (I like the steep stuff on the far side of the mountain.)
Eat lunch at the huge ski chalet on top of the mountain. Be sure to order some “poutine”. It’s a quebec speciality -french fries smothered in gravy and cheese curds.
There are tons of great restaurants in the area. Many in the Village at the bottom of the ski hills and in the town of Tremblant. Also try St. Jovite for some wonderful little restaurants.
While you’re there be sure to go to a maple sugar bush (“cabin au sucre”) The maple sap should be running in mid March. The best time to go is for brunch on Saturday/Sunday.
enjoy your trip.
Take lots of warm clothes and plenty of sunscreen!
