Whats the best US ski resort for a group of beginners/intermediate skiers and snowboarders?

Looking for a somewhat affordable place that has plenty of bars/nightlife and near an airport. Only current thoughts are Park City but a little afraid of the long lines (but maybe this cannot be avoided?) Thanks everyone!!!

Park City (PCMR) would be good for your group. Just avoid President’s weekend, MLK holiday and (especially) Sundance.
