What brand(s) of Snowboarding/skiing equipment? -Beginner?
senor inquisitive asked:
Im 16, i snowboarded for the first time last year and i loved it. Im going back this year and my dad decided we should go ahead and invest if its gonna be a yearly thing.
So i am gonna get a helmet for sure, and the proper clothing and whatnot
If one would be so kind as to fill me in on what are the best helmets for their price as well as what are some good clothes to get?
(last time i just borrowed some random jacket and some pants

r.e.d helmet are the most common for snowboarding, and you can usally find a good one for about 50 dollars , try to ge last years model, it will be cheaper. as for board boots and snowboard, price wise rossinol has the best boards for the cheapest, dont buy any nitro or palmer boards because they are cheap. if you want to invest more money 200-300 you can get a rome, stepchild, ride, signal, academy, k2 , capita. all of these brand names normally give you a petty good bang for your buck, and most come with a 1 year warrenty, highly suggested because you can normally get a free board if yours gets messed up. i do not sugget buying burton, because they are expensive and not the best brand. i like 32 boots, they are cheaper then most and are good quality, also rome makes a nice boot as well. bindings is a tough one because it really depends on the board and how you ride. rome, make the best binginds, but tech nine also make good ones, deffintaly research to make the right decision. anaon goggles fit best with r.e.d. helmets but you can get nice Dragon ones, oaklys, and ions. if you want cheap snow gear, head in to TJ Maxx around winter and you can find some sweet gear. orage, four square, and dna make nice cloths.hoe this helps
